Tyres - Michelin Crossclimate 2 SUV

I'll second that. They will also offer more protection over a road tyre due to the heavier tyre carcass when on forestry tracks. Nokian have also released a new AT which looks like it will be brilliant for snow/ice

I found that running more road orientated tyres on stony forestry tracks got the tyres chewed up pretty fast with the tread pattern chipping badly but I haven't see this problem with A/T type tyres.

Best all out winter tyres I've ever had that survived farm life were Vredestein Snowtrac, lasted a couple of years on a Rover 25 diesel.
Best all year tyres I've had have been Michelin Cross Climate. My late father's Yeti 4x4 wouldn't put a foot wrong in the snow and coped with tracks and wet caravan sites with ease. Think the last set on my wife's car did 30000 on the front.
