Feasible ......................... Ermmmm I would expect most half decent rifles in .308 to be capable of doing so if fed bullets and ammunition it likes for example:-

The top three holes spread out were an old load loaded for a different rifle and this one showed it showed it did not care for the Bullet in this case was the 200 grain Speer ...................... yea heavy but something I was playing with some years back. The ragged hole at the bottom is three rounds using the Hornady 130 Grn SP through a "cheap" Parker-Hale 1100 Lwt in .308 using a cheap Nikko Sterling "Special" :-

Hey everybody I was hoping for alittle help I am in a priveledged postion of renewing my stocking set up and I was hoping for some advice from your experience to help me consider the various options I would prefer a .243 and was considering something like Remington Model 700 CDL SF Walnut/Stainless Fluted Centrefire Rifle the remington stainless fluted I would prefer a light rig but not unstable as I may be taking shots 100yds + I like the mcmillan range of stocks therefore im not against synthetic scope is not an issue as I have a swarovski habicht ready to go. My new set up must be equally at home woodland stalking or on the hill. I know its a big ask but your help and experience will be appreciated.

In addtion I would prefer a magazine as against a floor plate.

Many Thanks
Paul

PS It seems my calibre choice may be off I currently shoot 308 please add your calibre recommendations thanks

I'd challenge you to break it in a lifetimes stalking. Reports from the front say well over 5000 shots afore it loses the sub MOA accuracy standard we've come to expect from a rifle now. Chambered in a few tasty cartridges as well. Pricey yes, but you'll only buy it once. How many lads on here share stories of the different rifles they've owned and sold on? That's all well and good if you like a change now and then, but I'm of the sort that can't be bothered with all the shopping trips, and this yin is from good old Blighty as well! Keep your money in country, don't fund the yanks or those dashed Jerries! :british:

I appreciate your enthusiasm for the rifle for despatching the Queens Enemies, but lugging it thru the woods or out on the Hill after Deer or Fox? No Thank you.

Kimber 84m, lightest of all rifles, smallest acton, and a good looker.

That's a bold quote! ...................................... Wonder! ................. what Melvin Forbes of ULA whould have to say about it?

I was not impressed when handed a 84 stainless Kimber. It fact it was very rough when the bolt was operated.
