For Sale: Ultralight Carbon Fibre GMM Quad Stick Kits

@DeerHunterUK I don't offer an assembly service. It's really easy to assemble the fixed length sticks. The takedown option is a bit more fiddly. I should have more stock in about 10 days.
OK thanks, please keep me posted.

I’ll try my luck with @AndyMacs seeing as though he did such a good job with his sticks, haha.

Andy can you assist me with the take down version please? 😅

Hi DeerHunter,

Happy to help, just pm me so we can chat.
Thanks

Will give you a shout next week once my parts have been delivered. Would be good to have a quick run through before starting and anything to avoid.

I’ll be near your neck of the woods - Derby (Burton on Trent) in maybe a fortnight or so, to collect my first rifle from Livens; Tikka T3X Super Lite Emerald Stainless & Fluted in .243. It looks very similar to the one in your picture, showcasing the sticks.

Appreciate your help mate. Your pictures were really helpful too.

Thanks again.

Sorry, should have been clearer - it’s not really the weight that is of concern, more so reducing the bulk in hand of my carbon vipers with four 14mm tubes.

Not sure what Blasers are, but they are considerably thinner than Vipers and hold up ok.

Anyway, just thought I’d ask as would have a set. 👍
I've just thought of your post and am wondering if your sticks are actually 14mm diameter, as my sticks aren't bulky at all in the hand. Here's my measurements at widest part of sticks if you'd like to compare with yours.

No worries, very happy to help. The 12/10mm insteadof the 11.7/10mm tubes work much better imho, no slop at the joins at all.

Btw, I just noticed your question about the rifle in the picture! Its my Tikka T1x 17HMR with a new Alpex 4k LRF lite on top:D

Hi. Just checking in, you said you'd be able to send a replacement kit as I lost my sticks. No hassle, I'd rather wait as they worked so well.
Cheers Geoff

Very nice set up 😍

Thanks for the advice re the 12/10 tubes. Have ordered the take down kit and purchased the carbon fibre poles, got a good deal from Katana for £95.

Hi takbok,
Could you put me on your list for a carbon fibre takedown kit please, looking forward to trying them out.
Please send me a DM with your payment details and then I can send you my address etc.
Thanks.

I have the non-takedown option with 5th leg and I promised I'd write a review after shooting something in the far distance. I've not shot anything more than a couple of hundred yards since having them, but they have been superb so far.
I fitted carbon poles and they are lovely and light... and warm to carry.
The fith leg is great when you need a tripod to hang your rifle/coat/whatever off. I had to shed serious layers after dragging a fallow the other day and it was nice to hang everything on the sticks instead of on the mud. It's also brilliant for extra stability on longer shots. Rock solid.
Neither do they whistle in the wind like alloy ones riddled with adjustment holes do. These are really well made and functional.
I did start to do a suspended gralloch on a CWD with them set up as a tripod, but I backed off as I wasn't 100% confident the head would hold up. It was quite a chunky one though! No great hardship and obviously that's not the inteded use for them.
I am very, very pleased with these, to the extent I've written my phone number on them in case I ever misplace them.

Afternoon
When cutting the 5th leg is there a rule of thumb to the length it should be ? IE x amount shorter than say front or rear legs or should it be cut to the same length ? My 5th leg will be going on a set of ViperFlex, thanks for any guidance .

I'd say that you just want it to be clear of the feet of your sticks.

Heres some info for my sticks for reference:

Would this be the same if deciding to rear mount ? Thanks .

I present the new and improved, much simplified, takedown connector.

This can easily be retrofitted if you aren't happy with your magnetic connectors. You'll just need to break off and drill out (10mm drill) the existing male connector.

I will update my assembly instructions for this soon.

If any previous customers would like a drilling guide and bit for this then please holler.
