Is that the same tool advertised on some of the hunting vids on you tube .Looks a decent bit of kit !

Christ where to start... pop up pigeon hide, so good even you can’t see the birds coming in.. you also need a degree in origami to fold the think back up.
Cheap shooting sticks, .22 rimfire bore snake, ridge line trousers, harkila boots, sealskin gloves.

what is it they say about a fool and his money 😂

Strictly speaking I did not buy this. It was a Christmas present from my wife during a period in our lives when we were doing a lot of scuba diving. But it is definitely udders-on-a-bull territory.

My guess is it was designed by some bloke inspired by First Blood. It is huge. And it has never been out the draw.

years ago my first mod was a vaimco i had it fitted by a fantastic well know gunsmith i had it on my rifle for a month it was a load of shite it kept coming loose you had to re zero after removing it for cleaning i got that sick of it i unscrewed it and threw it of the side of cliff what a load of crap bs

Percussion outdoor trousers, waist fitted ok but the legs were so tight , they looked like spray on leggings, couldn't bend my knees, and as they warmed up they got tighter, horrible things

Seeland hawker shell trousers , opened the parcel and actually had to laugh , should say noisy diving wetsuit material in the description ! But this may change tomorrow as have some Harkila Roebuck trainers being delivered.

Ps the x ray above reminds me of when i smashed my knee a couple of years ago and had to have plates put in see attached !
Burger King whopper there?

I think you have to speak as you find and what works for one may not work for another. While some things mentioned in this thread may have been utterly useless to the poster, other folk may have found different.
Mention has already been made about the EKA Swingblade and a powder puffer (make or type unknown), but in my case I am very happy with the ones that I have.

I'm a bit of a porker myself and while the cut on the Percussion trousers may not be generous I quite like mine and am actually wearing them at the moment. I have to admit though that I went through trying on 5 or 6 differing sizes of increasing size in the Terre et Eaux shop before settling on the size I purchased. I've never ever tried on so many pairs of trousers when buying clothing, I normally settle on something close enough as my wife will testify. Hence never been described as looking smart in my entire life.

Agreed - I find the talcum puffers really useful, particularly as in some of the woods where I stalk the wind can be really fickle, to the point where I bought a couple of tins of unperfumed talcum powder so I can refill the small bottle as necessary.

Not so sure on the Swingblade, but that hasn't stopped me sending mine off to Danum to get it re-handled. Hopefully I will like it more without the gummy scales!

I also use the puffer. WG. If you have a fire use the ash to refill. Put it through the tea strainer first to get small bits charcoal out

Love a bit of powder puffing me especially in low wind conditions

Perhaps, but when the zombie apocalypse happens you'll be the one laughing!!

Would be interesting seeing that used to gralloch a muntac though - the knife looks like it might be bigger than the animal ;)

It's probably designed for F-Class shooting or some kind of range discipline of that sort. I happen to have a small supply of replacement hunting-grade bubbles for these items, which would probably change your experience of it for the better. Only £25 each; but they're quite delicate (until installed, of course), so the P&P will be another £147.34 or so.

I buy in bulk - much more economical and a bonus is they come pre-packed!
