Useless kit

The biggest dog egg in shootIng I have come across is the monkey shotgun cartridge loader total rubbish and a good reason for not believing gun mag reviews 😳

that’s such a shame. I look at those from time to time thinking it is exactly what I need!

Seems all my fishing and shooting kit is useless at the moment!

yep missed the trout season already :( I hope the mackerel run is not early this year or I’ll have an empty fish freezer

on the bright side I know the whereabouts of a decent carp lake - so all is not lost - as my grandad used to say “ yes son I’ve got shooting and fishing rights over this ground from dusk to dawn”

I probably won’t be starving to death.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Butler Creek scope caps; as others have said, they are the cheapest quality plastic and broke the objective cover second time out. If it's raining just as quick to have a basic home made neoprene hood over the scope and whip it off when needed.

Monkey Loader! Hah! The only monkey is the monkey it makes out of its purchaser. I see now the poor bloody Germans are being told the great benefits of these things.

Time and again I've told of how I follow the advice Robert Churchill gave. After putting cartridges in cartridge back or coat pocket then SHAKE it for half a minute. The lead end ends facing downwards and the light end, the powder end, ends facing upwards. The job is done without wasting money of Monkey Loader devices. Put you hand into the cartridge bag or pocket and the rounds are positioned perfectly. Try it!

neoprene moderator cover. After 30 unsuccessful minutes of trying to fit the damn thing I calmly (!) walked away, got a big pair of scissors from the kitchen and hacked the damn thing into the smallest pieces I could, gathered them up and dropped them i the dust bin. Being a tight Yorkshire man i deeply regretted the £20 I wasted.

when i first got into reloading all those years ago, a idiot in a gun shop told me this is what you need to reload perfect ammunition, yep a lee reloading kit, it didnt last long, what a waste money, bs

Really! been using a Lee kit or at least what started as one had a few additions over the years but still using the press
and some of the dies must be nearly thirty five years now, it has been faultless.

Without doubt current BC's absoute crap.

Can't fathom out why nobody has commented on .17 HMR ammo?

D

years ago my first mod was a vaimco i had it fitted by a fantastic well know gunsmith i had it on my rifle for a month it was a load of shite it kept coming loose you had to re zero after removing it for cleaning i got that sick of it i unscrewed it and threw it of the side of cliff what a load of crap bs
I had one of those on a 6PPC c/f. Fantastically quiet, but weighed half a tonne and added nearly a foot to the barrel length !!
Still, what else could you get at the time? It shifted the point of impact about 6" compared to when off the barrel.
I remember buying and fitting a T8 and thinking, " This is the way forward !!"

How times change.

no bog trotter, it was the hand held one, not the press, i had a lee cast iron press that made some good ammo, infact ive still got it bs.
