just received my FAC back and it had a condition on the bottom but I'm not 100% sure of what the wording means so thought id ask thanks for any input

it reads :

the firearms sound moderators and ammunition shall be used for shooting vermin and any other lawful quarry, and for zeroing practice on ranges, on land over which the holder has lawful authority to shoot

Open conditions for everything legal in the UK with that calibre.
Fill yer boots!

Interestingly I called Sussex today to enquire about my new permission. The guy said I have to wait for the FEO to add it to my certificate and that'll depend on backlog, although he dropped in on the end "or just give you an open certificate which is what they're doing a lot more lately"

A couple of years ago my MET F.E.O. said more or less the same thing, as they want to leave the decision on appropriate land to the FAC holder.

Seems like the constabulary (or at least that one) is seeing sense under all the administrative pressure. Trying to manage separate permissions must be an administrative nightmare!
