Variation Times ?

I submitted a full variation by post (Recorded delivery) about 4 weeks ago and have heard nothing since.
I intend to ring tomorrow and see where they are at. My Police Force are Gwent and whilst busy they have, in the past been quite responsive. Anyone had a recent variation ? if so, how long did it take ?

Dropped a variation in at Glenrothes today and processing time estimated to be within 3 weeks.

It would be good to collect these stats as they are variable both in time and location which tends to suggest that resources are being used elsewhere as the situation demands - another reason for a large question over what a reasonable charge for a cert should be. Also, in my case a firearms dealer is charging for the storage of the gun I hope to take as a bequest, surely there cannot be a suggestion of inappropriateness, is it really therefore just lack of these variations being awarded priority ?

I’m hopeful my 141 will be done within a week. Glenrothes is generally fairly decent.

Just got my variation back with rifle and mod added . From posting to receiving back in my hand 6 day , variation itself took three days

Lincs is all online , even payment is done by BAX .and you can watch the progress by logging onto your account .

I think some of you lot need to join a better lodge

12 weeks quoted for an additional moderator (could not surrender the old one until I had the replacement so not 1 for 1) in Avon & Somerset but received after 4 weeks which was perfect for my needs
