They must be nipping on !Using it in 6.5-284 behind some 95gn bullets. Very accurate and good velocity (unsurprisingly!!).
Thanks for that. How long is the barrel in your rifle ?Vit555 & n160 variations hope it’s of some use
22” factory standard. I have checked sako and they don’t seem to run at2855 FPS as statedThanks for that. How long is the barrel in your rifle ?

Start at minimum charge weight as per Vihtavouri, you'll be safe at that. Thanks for the comparison @Edinburgh Rifles - very interesting, although having just bought a tub of N555 I'm going to work with it for the time being.
If anyone can answer my original question about rifle primers I'd very very grateful!
Very helpful, thank you!I am Using it for several 6.5CM loads. Sako S20
Lapua SRP, 45gn 127LRX. 2850fps. 10 shot ground under 3/4".
Lapua SRP 43.2gn. 130TGK. 2745fps. 10 shot 1/2"
Sako LRP brass. 42.4gn 130TGK. 2725fps. Same accuracy.
Sako Brass, 41gn. 140gn Gameking, 2600fps. Didn't bother shooting paper as I was just getting rid of 60 I found in a box. But 10 shots into a 3" gong at 300 yards. Just found what appeared a speed node and seated to 2.297" BTO. Then the rest went into a deer sized deer at a variety of ranges.
The 130gn TGK loas in Sako brass has worked in my rifle, and two other mate's rifles. Speed was different, accuracy wasnt.
