i have no ammo i removed it the other week when you said,but all i,m saying is reading this it reads like a normal cert ,as above ,,ie permitted to possess firearms and or ammo,ps i,m going to ring them to clarify,

Did they actually put the expanding condition on the Permit? Or what exactly did it say?

I cant get any joy on there numbers today i will try to morrow,its exactly as i wrote on the other thread it doesn,t mention any types ,it just states like as normal ,,permission to have in his possession firearms and/or ammunition specified below,on the terms that the holder shall:then the normal four conditions about letting the c,o,police know blah blah, and below my c/fires and mods and ammo for both,ie 200 6x5s and 200 308s no mention of anything else,pic added of sect 7

Okay, thanks for posting the pic of your permit and the actual wording.

Looks as if they've made a boo-boo with note 2(b) on there and it might be construed as encouraging anyone unfamiliar with the law surrounding S.5 expanding to commit an offence.

Called up today usual BS story about renewals getting priority 1 month more wait till the cert is likely to be posted. How ridiculous is this situation. Where the paperwork is standard should be printed out and then signed you would have thought they could have bashed about 100 per day out see as they need is a short data input then signing.

Thats absolutely ridiculous so what is she expected to do? Hand them into a dealer? Have you told BASC about this as they were firing some form of case against Lancs because of their poor service.

My mate who lives in Surrey but is covered by Hampshire put in for change of address, adding a 243 and a mentoring letter from me for deer in January,he got his certificate back last week along with a reminder that his FAC and shotgun cert runs out in January.Hants are exceptionally crap

They are improving though to be fair to them. I had a bit of a wait on my conterminous application but once I had the home visit it was 48 hours until I had the licences in my hand which I thought was excellent.

And when I had to send my SGC back in for a typo correction they turned it around in about 3 days.

They are working on their backlog at the moment and have apparently hired some more staff in so hopefully we should see the SLA improve over the coming months.

no mate nothing ,to be honest i wasn,t expecting one ,because its a written answer( Email)they wont answer phones its auto answer so you never get anywhere it stops and ends the call, i had nine and a half months of this **** last year till i threatened a formal complaint,its an absolute scam coming to a force near you soon!ps its not just me theres seven others i know in three forces,

I will try again tomorrow and then if nothing forthcoming will call the CI again and yell at him. I seriously ****ed off now. 1 month on since the visit, all references have been checked and the land etc probably find its a hold up with the medical or something. If the local health centre try and bill me for that I think it will be the final straw. The service is so poor!

its a joke mate ive tried complaining last year which worked a charm ,had the visit/vetted paperwork done months ago ,but they will not touch the cert till its out which i can understand but having done everything then say heres a temp for four months go away ,i just dont get it they are actually making more work for the extra staff, The worst part of it all is they never ever let you know any info by mail/phone or wonderweb,Its a bit timely anyway at the minute got some personal crap going on so i,m confined to barracks,

FAC finally arrived this morning. Very short conditions called Novice Closed can shoot on land cleared by CI etc but I think .270 for deer only and 22.250 for Fox only. Which seems a bit weird as we agreed for AOLQ. Still least I can finally pick up my rifle.
