Had a cracking day last week end. Four of us, two guns and two dogs. 4 km walked, lots or sunshine and fresh air. 2 cartridges fired - one from each gun. One duck and one snipe. Other game seen but generally out of range or not safe. Happy day.

Love a walked day with the old dog,no pressure and any birds are a bonus.
Had one on Monday and although only covered a couple of areas there were tremendous numbers of woodcock,and finished with 2 in the bag.
