wellies

Has anyone else tried the new ones from Buckler [Scottish company] they are based on Muck boot style. These have a proper and very supportive bonded sole [like you nomally only get on work type boots] and are branded as Buckbootz. They are also available with a steal toe cap if you have a badly behaved dog .
They're about £60.

Le Chameau Vierznord (think thats how you spell it). Had 1 pair for 5 years with no problems. Rubber eventually perished around ankles, so repaired them with inner tube repair kit!!!!:smug: Still going strong and waterproof, but got a new pair of same to replace.... use the old ones for dog walking now.
Only problem I find with LC`s are that they are TOO comfortable...... they are like a pair of slippers, so they lack a bit in support. Very good though

Excellent welly, I've had mine since 2003, use them regularly, they are starting to show their age now but I have a new pair of the same ready for when these finally give up!

I had a problem with the soles splitting on a pair of le chameau leather lined wellies, their customer services were particularly unhelpful and I wouldn't touch this brand again
my previous pair split on the soles but they did alot of miles.i did super glue them together quite a few times.it did hold them together for quite a few outings before they opened up again.
