Does anyone know what bolt this is & where I can get one please.
It’s from a tikka t3x adjustable stock.

As above, should be easy enough to find a replacement. If you’re not fussy you might even find something compatible in B’n Q.

Is there a similar one on the forend? If so take it out & measure it - looks like a torx domed cap head.

Alternatively ypu might be able to find out what it is by looking up Tikka spares using Google - they do parts drawings that you can set the key numbers from as well as specs for bolts sometimes.

Tikka will be using metric screws. My rough guess is that it‘ll be an M5. Remove it, measure the length and voila. A replacement should be easy enough to find either in your local hardware store or at worst on Amazon.

@Rogerp
M5 screw (standard pitch)
Head: 3 mm hex
Body length: 10 mm
Overall length: 12.5 mm

Any bicycle shop should have loads of extra 10-mm-body M5 pan-head screws, as they’re the standard fastener for 6-bolt brake rotors; these will work perfectly and are functionally identical other than (usually) having a T25 head instead of 3-mm hex.

Mine undoes with a key marked/labeled T15.
Checked again!
3mm Hex fits better!
Black stock!

I swapped in the grippy green Supervarmint stock, which came with 3-mm heads. Can’t remember if the original black one used hex or Torx, but I did notice that it has a bigger adjustment knob.

In any case, any 10-mm-ish standard M5 screw will work just fine.1663497875190.webp
