Being 6ft 5 and lanky I require sleeves longer than most. Musto is usually good as are Norwegian and Swedish brands
Yeah, well, I heard you wear baseball caps too, so I would have expected your taste in shirts to be pretty lousyIt had to happen - something you and I completely disagree on. I live in t shirts and polyester is my favourite!!

Cuffs that allow the sleeve to be rolled up.
A soft fabric, not stiff and rough on the neck.
Doesn’t shrink or fade in 30 degree wash.
Moleskin for autumn/winter.
Cotton for summer.
Decent collar - not button-down.
Colours other than olive drab and brown.

These rip-stop heavyweight cotton shirts come in at about £20 and last for years.
Soften up nicely after a couple of washes.
Plenty of other colours available if you don't always want to look like you've just strolled out of the jungle.
They're the only shirts I buy these days.
If you could match them in quality and price @Bleakridge I'd happily buy from you. Would be interested in a half button version too.

Just to add , Full length buttons rather than just the short Y neck, Long sleeves as i prefer to roll up , There use to be some English makers but a lot now from China like my 2 Wynnsters i have had for many years and still wearable
Funnily enough I’ve been out on a simulated game day today and my biggest annoyance with shirts reared its head again which brought me here!
They’re too bloomin short to tuck in and remain tucked in! Barbour tattersall on today and while the tail is almost there (still rides up after getting in and out the truck a couple of times) the front of the shirt barely tucks in. Absolutely rubbish for such a brand.
As mentioned previously, cuffs on long sleeves that are actually possible to roll up properly
I’ll keep my eyes on your website!

35 years under my tucked in shirt
As you say, we’re a dying breed! Don’t know anybody my age with a full shoe shine box!

36 here and dragged up however I try to look smart now and then and shirts do get tucked in!
Repeats of some above, but
Slightly heavier weight cotton (brushed flannel or proper touch canvas cotton)
Properly attached buttons
LONG so that it won't come untucked
Arm tab / button to hold up sleaves when rolled up
Split yoke
Option of pockets or no pockets and bellow pockets (also the zipped one is good as an option)
Heavy weight option for winter and a lighter weight one for summer
general hedgerow or mud coloured, but also a proper nice check so you can wear it out
I got couple of Deerhunter ones for Africa which are nearly perfect in this regard apart from both being bambi-killer green
Purdey (it was in the sale...) have the best check pattern, but their quality is woeful (cuffs detaching and buttons falling off) and the shirts are almost croptops in length

If you go to the US site for Drake Waterfowl, look at their TREY shirt. In my mind, they have the perfect shirt for warm weather.
