What dog boxes have you got?

I have always had TransK9 dog boxes (4 so far to be precise).

I’m the new year I am having a new truck delivered and I am think about getting a gun drawer and double dog cage setup.

So far I have shortened the list down to CAB Animal Transit Boxes, and Animal Transit Boxes Ltd.

Just looking to hear what other people have, and what their experiences have been?

I have CAB box in my truck and it’s mint I’ve hade erything in there from Malinois to spaniels and big GSDs their built to last. We have some Animal transit boxes in work and their just as good

Have a look at N + J Aluminium. I've had one of their standard dog boxes for 10yrs and it gets almost daily use. Just graduated to a bespoke canopy with cages built in. Really good quality products.

trans K9 for a while now, been to Europe many times with the dogs pre covid, dogs love it and see it as home.

Direct 4x4 draws well made will last for years, and can swap between trucks if you change. Then put a animal transit box on the top perfect.

i had one specially made from adrian at stop gap canine solutions to fit on a set of gundrawers. cheap as chips and top class service

Used to be supplied with Trans K9 for work and they are well made but quite heavy.

I had a Lintran for my own use and I preferred it, found it more lightweight to move in and out of the vehicle and easier to clean.

Second hand draws, new half dog box made to measure. Should have done it years ago.

Got a canopy on order from them for my new hilux, should be here mid February. Can't wait as I'm lost without one, its a chew lifting the dog box in an out as an when needed, an leaving dogs unattended in this day an age is an absolute no no.

I got CAB to do a custom box for my Amarok. Well chuffed with their work and customer service.

If it’s going in a boot of an estate type car it’s really useful to have one with a sloping back. This provides more floor space for your best friend and means it can slide further into the boot.

Went into Trans K9 to enquire about a box when I bought my new truck and didn't find them at all helpful or interested. Thought that if that is what they are like when you are trying to spend money then what will they be like if I have a problem so bought elsewhere

Home made custom dog box:View attachment 235740Made to fit Mouse's Jimny. Anyone could easily do the same to fit any size of vehicle / any size of dog.
That is very smart - and you've done a fine job. :tiphat: Heaven knows what my attempt at the same might look like!

Embarrassing for me to say, though, that my first thought on seeing the photo was to try to spot Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee. This irrational thought was brought on by the the two holes at this end of the box, where I half-expected to see Mouse's legs sticking out! ;)
