What dogs are you using?

Here are my dogs, one is missing as he was at the vets.

All work, the springer has tracked successfully and the GWP is proving to be very efficient.

Hi Stone,

Holly is turning into a little cracker, she is as bold as brass and very keen and eager to learn, whilst being very steady.

The sire to this bitch is from a keeper on Balmoral estate, she has amongst others, Drakeshead, Tasco, Pocklea Remus, Tibea Tosh, Pocklington, Swinbrook and many more. I did like the breeding on this one.

I will keep you posted on her progress, you will meet her on the march and shoot event.

Regards

Steyr

Here's another Holly, posted this pic a few months ago. She's carrying a lot of Drakeshead and is as keen as mustard.

That last Pic of Holly is an absolute stunning picture, you should get that blown up and framed.

Sadly, I'm not allowed a dog.....YET. Waiting for the right place, right time when there are half a dozen puppies and we just "POP" in. She will melt, and take her pick and I'll be happy.

I have though heard varrious things about Black V's Brown labs, brown are meant to be a little more less keen to learn, is this true?

Nice Pics.

Ah, that old black-brown thing! My previous dog to Holly was a choccy. He was an aimiable chap, thick as two short planks, totally lacking in any sort of gusto, did't like to get wet, didn't like to go in prickly places. Specialist subject: dinner. But what he lacked in working genes he made up for as a family pet. Put him down just before Christmas last at the age of 15, very sad but he'd run his race.

Having said all that his litter sister was an FTW so you never know!
