Not range bag
But a one for getting dirty out hunting as sick of lugging around my hard case
TIA

I’m using 2 harkila skane slips and they have worked out brilliantly, you can leave the mod on and offers good protection against bumps with room for carts/ batts etc on the side well made piece of kit

This thread is drawing the same conclusions that I came to before I bought my Ogdens, which is; everyone seems to use either AIM, Harkila, or Ogdens. All 3 seem decent.

I spent hours pouring over all 3, and the reasons I chose Ogdens were-

It’s the only one that’s waterproof.

It functions as a slip (the AIM ones are all a bit big), as well as a car/range bag.

Rifle fits with mod and bipod.

Made to order in the UK by an independent British company. This also means you can customise them if needed.

Any issues, no need to email customer services and hope that they don’t fob you off, the owner puts his bloody mobile number in the bag.

There was one more thing….oh yeah, they’re the cheapest of the three!

Hopefully I’ve saved you a few hours of reading old threads.

Having never owned an Ogden’s rifle slip, I’d have absolutely no issue recommending anything manufactured by him as I use his compact roe sack extensively and the thing is top drawer. Truth be told if I needed another rifle slip I’d likely go for an Ogdens. I’ve been impressed with the quality of everything from him. I believe @Monarch Country Products carry a lot of his gear.

I use a rifle cover from deer stalking uk it covers the rifle and scope and becsuse its elasticated comes off very eadily. I use it when my rifle is mounted on the quad and can legally drive on the road.

I like these they have a big pouch for stalking gear and the Mat is surprisingly useful

I just bought an Ogdens Quickslip. It’s a fantastic bit of kit. One of the few that are actually waterproof as well

What I use. Excellent.

I have an AIM dragbag for my F class rifle, but think its a bit OTT and too bulky and heavy for my lightweight stalking rifle.

I use an Aim bag for my range queen, a great bit of kit. Not for stalking in my view as it’s large, bulky and heavy.
I’m happy with mine 👍
