What's your poison?

Have to concur with Scapegoat Glen Marnoch Islay malt from Aldi, I'm a recent convert. However Macallan Gold, Highland Park, Talisker and Aberlour join the list too, not all at the same sitting normally.

I can’t remember what it ended with but I know I started on Brewdog dead pony club and a dram of abolour 12 .... and now my head hurts :(

It varies depending on my mood haha!

Beer I really like IPAs, Belgian beer and some of the more mainstream brands like Peroni and Estrella.

Wine my favourite is Barolo (cant beat nebbiolo grapes in wine) but also really like tempranillo and malbec, or Kiwi sauvignon blanc.

Spirits wise grappa, metaxa, whiskey of course, G&T, I like some of the US bourbons like Woodford Reserve and Makers Mark, port, calvados... just depends on what I'm in the mood for at the time TBH!

Nine times out of ten a decent unmolested golden rum. Can't stand anything spiced. Not much of a whisky head but have enjoyed a drop of Strathisla in the past.

Proper anti climax home from.mull last night 2.30.am start back to London just back at the digs had to call in at tescos and picked up a bottle of Highland park for the night cap first day of the game shooting for me this weekend so rifle put away for a while plus boss lady ordered no more meat she has no room for normal food I always thought meat was normal lol

Arbalour or Jura or for us Balvennie double barrel is the favourite wee dram .
Pedigree if kept right, Tribute and The original Doom bar not the mass produced "stuff" that calls itself Doom now.

Well as I've just won a nice contract to supply 55 pieces of kit to NHS Blood & Transplant Jayne and I are enjoying a bottle of Moet :thumb:

Is there such a thing as an enjoyable Möet? Treat the girl to either Roederer NV, or if you're feeling flush Laurent Perrier rosé NV, they're both lovely, according to my friend ms 'polly roger' (neither applicable, ahem!)

That's not beer that's teenagers cat P.
Beer is Marston's Pedigree.
Old Peculiar if you like strong.
Abbots ale.
Hook Norton. 🥴
Ahh, Old Hookey. Years ago, I stayed at the Pear Tree pub, which was the brewery tap, lovely beer, but my favourite was Exmoor Gold.
Anyone from Pembrokeshire way ever visit the Denant Mill pub, on outside of Haverfordwest, the owner, Sidney Vincent, an Indian guy, really new how to keep his ale and his wife Marjorie made a fantastic curry. That was nearly 30 years ago, mind.
