Reading on Amazon some reviews say some lose GPS easily, some fall off etc.

What size dog?Anyone using GPS locators
Large pup but will be big, Redbone CoonhoundWhat size dog?
I liked the look of them too, my kennels are full at the moment though and I was not sure how quiet they would be tracking - not sure the others I go stalking with would appreciate a hound speaking in the area i stalking. My GWP’s are pretty quiet luckily.Large pup but will be big, Redbone Coonhound![]()
Okay - no problem with size - Garmin are not doing UK legal in the mini size yet but that won't impact you. Good luck with that pupLarge pup but will be big, Redbone Coonhound![]()

I’ve got both the curve and the Garmin 200i. I use the curve when out and about walking the dog in England with a good phone signal and then I use the 200i when in Thetford Forest or north of the border in Argyll when the signal is sporadic. Both have their place but if it’s just bad use you worry about finding the dog if it runs off in a good signal area then I’d use the curve. If you just wanted a basic tracker you could consider the Vodafone Curve. I wanted a basic one for our dog without spending a fortune. £15 to buy currently and a couple quid a month for the subscription to the network.
Probably no where near advanced as the others in the thread.
