Who does such a thing?

I can well believe it, having looked after a friend's beagle puppy for a few weeks. That thing definitely needed a gps and the howling could be heard a mile away!

A bit harsh that
Maybe but I still find it annoying that people are so gullible that they will simply take at face value any rubbish they read without stopping and thinking it through then repost the drivel and thereby spreading further b@llocks in a world already afloat with lies and disinformation.

Then when challenged simply take the huff, whatever happened to integrity, personal responsibility and common sense?

We all make mistakes but what sets people apart are those that admit their mistakes and learn from the process or the more common approach is try and blame everyone and everything else for their own f&@kwittery.

It is so simple to comment on something that gives very little information, isn't it! Facebook is sometimes filled with so many stories that are "questionable" and are done just to get some sort of a knee jerk reaction or maybe to con the gullible. Some have no truth at all and some are quite genuine. The post does not give very much information that can be checked and I am sure that (if this story is true) there might well be more to it than meets the eye so I will reserve judgement until some more information comes to light as there are so many questions that could be asked and require answers!

Isn’t the forum a place for people with a like minded interest to talk about all waves of shooting , whether or not we believe it …. Long term. Things like this are what impact us with licensing!!

Could these the use of a lower end/older thermal scope?

I think if you don’t like the post …. Then don’t follow it anymore.

Enough said from me on the topic
Xx

Once you have confirmed that it's actually true, yes.

Sometimes this forum is like reading the birding forums where no BOP ever dies of natural causes but always shot.

Do you actually have anything of value to add to this forum? Or does your presence here merely serve as an outlet for your passive-aggressive nature?

Either way, I think I've had enough of you personally. Ignored 🙄
Well considering that I have just sent out extensive Risk Assessments etc to 3 people I have never met on this forum in order that they can gain stalking I think I'm comfortable in saying that yes, I do add some value.
How about you?

Don’t shoot the messenger. (As well as the dog )😘
I’ll post no more.
Ken.

It's easy to quickly read something like that without much thought and it gets reposted quickly, a few weeks ago a story started doing the rounds around here first on Facebook and then WhatsApp that a mother had ran over her toddler daughter with a lawnmower and requested prayers that the child was seriously injured, it turned out to be total garage.

Another mistake born of poor ID through a night vision scope?

I'm praying this is indeed a scam, for want of a better description, but for sure there are some verminators out there that I wouldn't sell a LEGO kit to even if they produced a Specsavers receipt.

This happens.

I found a neighbours cat in the field, shot with an airgun. Luckily made a full recovery.

Probably some nutter with an air gun and an itchy finger.
