Who has a roe in a chiller?

I like the idea ^^^^^ but complete dead zone in the furthest place from home, and the others no far from home

And for the foreseeable it will be better left off till needed, for now at least

I went for one of these:

Snug, but only presently have Roe and Muntjac (temp goes down as far as freezing and I aim for ~3-degrees - still cooling in this pic) and so does what I need. If I ever get onto Fallow, would need to figure something else for hanging as the shelves wouldn't take the weight. Helpful to see the other solutions in this thread.

You could make a small triangular frame for each side which engages with the top shelf support and get a bar as high as you can. And hang from the aitch bone with a long s-hook - you're currently losing about 2' of height in there.

A picture speaks a thousand words and all that... Let me dig a couple out.

Not a great pic but you get the idea - this was a couple of bits of thin angle, cut to length and bolted together and then sprayed white. I had fallow hanging on it no problem.

Simple offset s-hook at the front - small "hook" one end that threads through the pelvis and large "hook" the other that catches the aitch bone - you can see the height saved vs the deer hung off gambrels at the back (clearly smaller deer at the back but look at the distance between pelvis and rail)

Brilliant, thanks 75 sadly well beyond my meagre practical skills but I can certainly measure the dimensions needed, but a rod and find someone who can make the brackets. Thank you very much.

B&Q for a few bits of thin angle and a junior hacksaw, pack of M4 bolts and some threaded bar to go across the top (B&Q charge premium prices but for this volume it's not worth ordering a 6/7m length from the steel stockholders). You'll need to drill a few holes, but honestly it's very easy. Shame you're not nearer, I'd have knocked you something up.

Ahhh, thanks, I think I can 'see' enough now to give it a go. I don't mind 'trying', I just usually make an awful mess of anything even vaguely DIY related 😊 Equally, this doesn't need to look pretty, just do the job.
