Zeroing my 17hmr

Hiya can I ask a quick question on distances for zeroing 17hmr I have done mine at 100ms is this sensible or not

I zeroed mine at 100 yards up to 200 yards there’s hardly any hold over

I zeroed mine at 60 yds , shot a hare the other night at 155 yds ...BC said drop was 3 inches and it was spot on.
