Finally made it to the range to try out the LRF/BC thingy with the triple deuce.
Confirmed zero at 100yds and then pinged the 250yds plates - easily hit 4 out of 5 5inch discs, the last shot I knew I pulled as I took it - typical. Even more typical my great plan to video the test fell apart because……
Anyhoo it caused quite a stir with a number of members who had to get the full demonstration and all asked where they could get one!
Amazing bit of kit, now to try it on the 6.5x55 SE, when the picatinny to picatinny adapter arrives….

x12.5 at the start I think. Towards the end. x5, x7.5, x10, x12.5, x15, x17.5. The IR was on auto. taken at 2148hrs 2 nights ago.

I've been itching to get out with the Arken Zulus shod 222 in the day for a test.
Fallow stalking was a flop again. 4:30 am start for nothing again so after a rest I went crow hunting with the triple
So far so good, I'm quite impressed actually.
Ok it's not glass but non the less effective.

I got on a crow and using the laser it said 320yards. I guessed the hold but forgot to add some wind and the bullet just missed down the side of the crow!
The next crow read 228 yards but I was getting some errors and was running out of time for the crow was onto me. I shot the crow quite easily.
I like the unit. It's light and tiny also.View attachment 353039
It seems to struggle with automatic recording of shots. A bit hot and miss and timing can be out.
I may disable it and just go manual. For example...

Sooo any ideas why I get so much buffering when downloading a video from the Zulus to the app?
Good news is that it doesn’t seem to be a problem when transferred to the Ipad Photos….

I use an OTG adapter I put the sd card in from the zulus. Would that be better??

That’s worth a try but shouldn’t be necessary and fir some reason it doesn’t be a problem when saved to pictures.

I haven't got one on my rifle. But then again ive never cramped down on a stock and dont understand this cheek weld notion.
