If you look at the amount of gear the carp boys take to get one fish then some of the guys must like fishing....

Been there done that and had a special trolley made up to carry it all, once fished 28 days straight for 1 fish!

No mate it common carp at 42lb and that was one of the smaller residents on the 12 acre lake I used to call it the forgotten fishery because literally everyone forgot about the place once it became syndicate only, it really was the hardest of the hard, but if you connected with a fish you knew it was a whopper.
the now wife came home from traveling in Australia, continuing my quest for the bigger residents lapsed. Kept me out of trouble for a bit.

Try fishing a 38 acre lake with 11 Carp in !!!!!!!!
. Over the years I've rinsed a few of the Norfolk lakes out .Took me 3 years to get the wanted from the Lakes on the left just by Sainburys on the way to yours mate
