I was convinced it was a muntjac from the first pic but the second looks more like a rabbit or hare. How far into East Sussex are you as that may pretty much rule out muntjac.
the second picture I was convinced it was a rabbit but now when I have made the pic bigger it looks like a young deer with its head to the left hand side only saying this because of the white patch but the head still looks dog shapedFound this one on there too, my first thought was hare, but looks quite fat for a hare?

Look at this time and time again just cant is the resemblance to a hare I have never seen a hare with a white patch like that or am I missing something
