Stalking / Hunting Vehicles

L200 twin cab keeps the smell and blood in the back then just wash it out with hose pipe

+1 with some m/t tyres on,

my previous one was a swb pajero, with rear seats removed, modified, 35'' simex tyres, front rear lockers, go anywhere, still have it set in the barn for the challenging of the carcass recoveries :D one of the most reliable cars ive ever owned and have owned her for 12 years.

Snap, nearly.

I don't know if this thread has been done already, but what are stalkers using as their preferred vehicle of choice for hunting?

Mine is a Land Rover 110 CSW, 1983. Presently undergoing a full restoration and 300tdi conversion.

TD5, 9 seats, Nearly 13 years old. Disco gears in tranfer box from new, raises road ratios by 15%), no cat, chipped from new by main dealer for economy, no cooling fan on engine and 35 mpg, if i keep to 60ish on M way. 162,000 and not let us down (Yet!). Next vehicle will probably be a hearse.
Ken.

Got me in some right funny places for recovery, snow covered muddy ground that the farmer won't take his mule over to some seriously steep bankings and river crossings. Standard bar 2 inch lift and oversized tyres, all for 500 quid :D

 That made me laugh. You need to get some mud on your Rover mate, and stop talking about driving them on motorways, they don’t like it. 162,000 miles without a break down has gotta be a bloody record for a Land Rover???
