I've got a Digisight on a .223 that occasionally suffers from the screen 'scrambling' when I shoot. I was thinking of getting a photon for a .308, to save swapping things around. Has anyone used a photon successfully on deer-legal(to save specifying calbres) rifle without recoil issues?

I set mine up on the .308 and have taken a dozen or so shots without problem...took it off to go back onto the 22LR until another fox call.

The original model fitted with turrets had the option of an external power supply the XTs RTs can only use the 2x AAs so get the best batteries available.

4xaa or an external pack via USB.

Used mine on .270 one shot for zeroing 3 more just to check and 1 more through the Boars earhole a couple of days later, no issues at all, zero did not move between shots and that's on a 270.

nothing wrong with thr photon , was waiting up by a den 170 yards away. I spotted the fox as he emerged the only problem being that he ran back as I chambered a round. So my fault not the photons

Finally got him tonight from 180 yard, as I said nothing wrong with the photon
