Of course a BMQ is needed. How are you going to get boar managers like you have deer managers

? You need qualifications so some people can feel self important.
The whole hunting, stalking, firearms scene in the UK is a complete cluster phuck often encouraged by the participants in the sport and weak to useless hunting organisations. The UK must be unique in Europe in not having a nationwide, uniform hunting test.
I did the Swedish hunting test because i had too. There are different providers of a uniform hunting test that covers all types of hunting. The hunting test is occasionally up date to keep it relevant. The last time it was changed was to bring it into the digital world.
I never hear of a deer manager, best practice Etc,etc here. We have "sunt förnuft" Thats common sense.
There seems those that want turn simple things like reloading, deer dog training and even stalking into some sort of black art. something i don't notice here.
As I've said before i often read posts on SD with a sad smile on my face and see UK hunting galloping to its doom with its own participants holding the reigns.
