Available: Free stalk for NHS worker

As a thank you for all their hard work during this outbreak I would like to offer a full days stalking to somebody that works on the frontline NHS. Please put down your name if interested and I will draw one from the hat on Monday. The date for the stalk will be left open until after we know what is happening with the pandemic.

That should be fun as most, if not all, NHS workers tend to concentrate on saving lives not taking them.
Perhaps they look upon animals differently.
All those that I know are very squeamish about killing anything, even rats ;-)

I have several doctors who stalk on a fairly regular basis with me, and also one other man who has just started stalking but already owns an FAC but only for target practice who is now stalking with me.
There are probably more that enjoy fieldsports than you would give credit for.

Odd comment, and rather sweeping statement; the offer is on a stalking forum, where those reading this would probably be in to....stalking.

Nice offer well done.

Nothing odd about that, I did say most, if not all, and quantified my statement with the rest of the sentence.
Don't take everything you read so serious.

Fabulous offer. What a lovely thing to do. Respect to you, my friend. :tiphat:

Kind regards,

Carl

Thank you for this generous offer. I live in Cornwall but work at Torbay hospital and today I think will be my last day with my family for a few weeks as we are about to go into lock down of 48hrs on 48hrs off and I cannot risk infecting my family members.
I have always wanted to have a go at muntjac and if you have any and I’m would love a chance.

To everyone else. Stay safe, wash your hands, keep your distance and see you in the other side.

Certainly not this one! Definitely at the pointy end at the moment (unfortunately) and missing getting out after the beasties! To be fair to EMcC not many of my colleagues actually shoot although most will take your arm off for a bit of free venison:thumb:

Fantastic offer TH4 - just a shame I’m at the opposite end of the country.

I'm a microbiologist in the NHS and have shipped my wife and kids in with my mother for the past week whilst working nights. What's not to like? Joking aside, well one needs a sense of humor which is getting harder to hang onto, it's all getting a bit ugly. Remember, they're trying to slow the spread not stop it ;)

But I'm not front line so I'll pass on this very kind natured offer and wish it to go to some member of staff whom is.

At Torbay they have lifted all the barriers and offered to pay back any parking fees from the first of March. Cannot comment on other organisations but would be surprised if they all haven’t done the same.
