Afternoon All,
I'm looking for some help after a few interesting calls form my FEO that i can see may end up escalating a bit. On my licence i have both .22 Rifle (technically 3 of them) and one .22CF slots listed. I put through a purchase of a .223 and got a call telling me i had no slot for it as i didn't have a .223 slot. After a short discussion where i stated it was a .22CF i was told they would get back to me. Next up i was told i had filled my .22 Rifle slots (not true as i have 2 out of 3 filled), and when i pointed out i had quantity 2 next to one of the .22 Rifle slots i was told it was ok and an admin error their end. A few days later i get another call and the FOE asks me to send in my ticket as his boss wants to amend it to specifically have a .223 on it. The FEO stated that 'it was a technicality' but the boss wanted my ticket changed to reflect the .223.
Now, my RFD reckons i should ask for their reasoning in writing and i'm inclined to agree. I also plan to contact BASC but i'd be interested to see what people think.
So, what is a .22?
Cheers
