It is with deep sorrow that I received word this morning of the passing of a true, dear friend and site member. Colin Mackenzie (AKA Trimix). Colin was a true gentleman, friend, stalker and a guide for me.
His battle with the Big C ended early hours of this morning. He was also besides a very good deer stalker, a keen fly fisherman, and an all round decent honourable man, one of the few I have met in my life. I will miss him dearly.

RIP Colin, catch you in the forest later.

Really sorry to hear that Malc!
I’ll always remember the craic with Colin on that first trip out to Hungary and the smile on his face when he rolled over that boar on the first drive.
He was a true gent and an all round good man.
Rest in peace Colin.

Yes he was Stuart. I shall miss him greatly. Me, Jason and big Dave, will raise a glass to him when we are in Scotland. Even in his final days he was thinking of others. He paid to have a solid wood bench put up on the estate he loved in Scotland, for others to enjoy the view.

Many a man I have known, but few like Colin.
