Is there a shortage of deer? wheres Jim?

Hi guys and guyesses, ive recently emailed 3 different stalking companies for my area of Norfolk/suffolk border with a look to doing my first stalk, but none of them seem interested in my business, they all said on their website that they take inexperienced people, I have even phoned one of them who have told me that someone will get back to me, but as you can guess ive still had no reply, this was nearly two weeks ago, which if they were stupidly busy is fine just to say they have no room to take me on but to totally leave me hanging seems a bit unnecessary , might be a reason for it but im after a deer thats always in season, so i dont know this would be. so a few years ago i got in touch with a bloke on here called jim, cant remember the rest of his site name but he offered stalking for munties up in Norfolk but i couldnt go as my circumstances changed, but it was a while a go so its a long shot as to him still being on here. so does anyone know who im on about? would appreciated help, thanks all

Its rutting time for the 3 bigger more expensive species, a really busy time of the year for paid stalking, you’ll have more success trying again in December/January.

Usual crap, they don't know how to run a business.

"Its a busy time of the year", **** that, they must have too much money if they are just turning business away. Plenty people like that though including well known auctions houses and big gun dealers who can't be organised enough to close a deal.

If they don't want your business, don't give it to them as its a fair indicator that the experience will be a bit ****. Find somebody who gives a ****.

BASC Holdwold stalking schema is worth a look if you are a member. It's where I got my very first deer on my very first stalking.

BASC currently has three deer stalking schemes – Bowland in Lancashire, Baronscourt (Northern Ireland) and East of England (near Newmarket).

Its rutting time for the 3 bigger more expensive species, a really busy time of the year for paid stalking, you’ll have more success trying again in December/January.
