That’s great and confirms my thinking. ThanksI faced a similar situation. I have a .22 for rabbits and close range foxes if the opportunity presents but not as a foxing rifle. A 6.5mm creedmoor for deer and for foxes but I don’t take many foxes so taking the odd one with the creedmoor works fine. If you’re after foxes a lot then a dedicated rifle is probably best as many of the best calibres are too much for general rabbiting. If forced then I’d say .17 hornet or one of those types
