Whats the easiest way to download the footage off the pulsar? I've tried stream vision and 2. But their not that good to use. And I only have a phone and tablet.
right here goes nothing
Don’t expect much , I’m no good at this technology malarkey.. Video does get compressed quite a bit , but quality is still not to bad.
Out with pulsar , little bit misty but not too bad . Fox shot at 253 m / 276 yards when I picked up fox I pinged the truck with range finder so my mistake. There was also a little bit of glare which turned out to be coming from my mod cover .
Ignore me, found it, 11.5m per click at 100M which means I can dial in other distances based on BDC rather than doing it for real, awesome, love that.

Thanks for that info.If anyone is after a C50
Livens Ltd had 1 in stock earlier
Cheers, I thought it just looked oddYes the three flashing green lights should flash from right to left when charging under each battery
Superstar clubcollect mine tomorrow managed to find one without IR![]()
An Excalibur to start and work from thereSteve
so what IR are you going to use out off interest
Nice write up and a well balanced evaluation. I’m sort of with you on the daytime view , but I actually don’t mind the colour daytime picture it suits my eyes well , but like I have said in a previous post on another website, as long as I can zero at 150 meters I’m good to go , I have no further interest in shooting in daylight.Well I took the C50 out last night mounted on my lr.
Zero’d in the morning - not massively impressed by daytime image if I’m absolutely honest, but it was certainly useable. I’m comparing with the Wulf and Pards with this comment.
Last night, dry and no damp hanging in the air. Excaliber IR mounted and wow, what a bl**dy great and useable image and reticle setup. Screen is all good.
I do like PIP so had the main screen at x3.5 and PIP at x7.
Lovely view out to 100 yards (which is as far as I looked last night doing what I was doing).
Turned the ir off completely at one point, and even though there was cloud cover, I could still see what was what through the scope in the darkness.
Really am impressed with the nighttime capabilities of this scope.
Big fan of the ‘traditional scope mounting system’ and how intuitive the scope is to use also.
Battery life was great.
Bottom line in my personal view (immediate thoughts through having used it once in anger):-
Does it beat the Pard 008 = I’d say yes (with the exception of its size and weight). Most of my shooting is done in darkness.
Does it beat the Wulf = daytime no but at night most certainly yes.
Will it ‘kill’ more than the Pard or Wulf, probably not, but it is a damn sight nicer to use than the others.
I’ll be keeping it. Looking forward to trying it on my 243 with XTL mounted.
Oh, and build quality, yes it beats everything else in its peer group.
Note: I have also owned an ATN X Sight and I’d say that was similar to what I’ve said about the WULF above, but got rid of that pronto as the software issues were too much to bear.
What IR were you using ?Just my brief initial input after obtaining a C50 recently and able to do a direct side by side comparison with a Wulf 4K.
The C50 day mode colour display seems more lifelike and the detail is just as good as the the 4K at its basic 3.5x, also it has a lovely wide FOV compared to the Wulf. However it all changes when you start to digi mag up for Zeroing (in daylight @ 100yds in my case), as the C50 suffers a lot of noise and the target visibly shivers, with the black edges to the target becoming very indistinct at 14x. The Wulf is excellent in comparison even past the equivalent 14x of the C50.
In night mode the way the C50 deals with any excess IR is interesting and pleased to report that it does not suffer any foreground white out like the original Digex, it also seems to balance out the IR intensity, regardless of flood or spot mode and limited the illumination on the target, giving a very even spread and seemed to increase the effectiveness of flood mode to longer ranges/wider FOV.
On the whole I would say the C50 is slightly better at night than the Wulf 4K but there isn`t much in it and certainly not £300 worth`s difference.
