Wanted: Closest Muntjac/CWD paid stalk to Pembrokeshire?

I know we don't have any within a 100 miles or so.

But where would the closest be to myself.

I have an open 223 and haven't shot Deer before.

What sort of price range should I look to pay for a stalk where I can take the animal home with me?

Best time of year for it?

Anything else I should know/consider?

Looking to book something this year for a little break at some point.

Cheers

Do you mean that you want to shoot both in a stalk? Or either?

If both, then East Anglia/Bedfordshire/Chilterns are your best best. Get in touch with @sikamalc: he can sort you out in Bedfordshire. but remember that there is a season for CWD, whereas you could book a Muntjac stalk any time.

If you just want to shoot one of the species then, while there are Muntjac in Wales (even a handful in Pembs!), your chances improve significantly once you cross the Bridge and keep heading East. And, if you shoot does and non-medal animals, they can be way cheaper than CWD!

Muntjac would be preferred, but either.

If your travelling a fair way which you will have to best go where your chances are highest and pay a few extra quid. Pierre off this site is worth messaging or a couple of the lads around Suffolk/Norfolk that advertise on here
