North West England Stalkers' Evening, June 16th 2022

Final list of auction lots. Very many thanks again to all of the donors. See you all tonight!

1. Red hind stalk - in the South Lakes. Kindly donated by Graythwaite Estate Sporting.

2. Roe cull buck stalk – Morning stalk for a roe buck in North West. Kindly donated by Martin Tomlinson and landowner.

3. Roe doe stalk in Yorkshire – kindly donated by Mulgrave estate.

4. Roe doe stalks – Dawn & dusk in the North of England. Kindly donated by Craig Blackburn of C&J Wildlife Management Ltd.

5. Roe buck or doe stalk – AM or PM stalk (or day in rut) in NE Lancashire. Guided by Nick Jackson (AW so can be witnessed for Level 2 ICR) Kindly donated by Claughton Hall Estate.

6. Roe doe stalk in the Lakes. Kindly donate by Dave Norman.

7. Sika hind or fallow doe stalk – AM or PM stalk in East Sussex. Will be stalked in a large 850 park. Kindly donated by Andy Papworth of Wild Deer Management.

8. Roe doe stalk – in the South Lakes. Kindly donated by Holker Estate.

9. Fallow doe/Muntjac day in high seat in Warwickshire, must have DSC L1 kindly donated by Ragley Estate.

10. Roe stalk in Cumbria. An AM or PM stalk for a roe Kindly donated by David Ainsworth.

11.Roe stalks in Dumfries & Galloway. Two days morning and evening on roe with the chance of reds. 10,000 acres mixed ground with high seats, estate rifle and Level 2 guiding available if required. Kindly donated by Mark Toft

12. Chinese Water Deer stalks in Bedfordshire. Stalk for a non-medal CWD in the winter of 2022/23 on a 3,500 acre estate. Both morning and evening if the morning was unsuccessful. Winner can keep the carcass. To be taken this winter Kindly donated and guided by Malcolm Harman of UK Outfitters.

14. Roe Deer Stalk in East Yorkshire Nr Goole. A stalk for cull roe. Kindly donated and guided by Jason Walton.

15. Red deer watching in the rut on the Haweswater reserve. Kindly donated and guided by the RSPB

16. Roe stalk in the Scottish Borders nr Bonchester Bridge. An AM or PM outing for a roe buck or doe. Kindly donated and guided by Tam Beattie

17. Roe stalk on Abbeystead estate in the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire. Accompanied by one of the estate gamekeepers. Kindly donated by Grosvenor estates.

18. Roe doe stalk in South Cumbria, AM or PM (AW so can be witnessed for Level 2 ICR) guided and kindly donated by Mike Thornley, Thornley Wildlife Services

19. A day with a Wildlife Ranger during the red deer rut’ Accompany a Forestry England wildlife ranger and listen to roaring stags within the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. The early morning outing will hopefully see the successful bidder witness red deer rutting activity and have the opportunity to discuss deer management across the nation’s forests.

20. Walked up shooting for two guns on 3rd January 2023 for pheasants and wild duck on the Dalemain estate near Penrith. Kindly donated by Stephen Hudson NJ

21 . Red stag carved bench kindly donated by Lee Bannon Chainsaw Carvings. RRP £1,750

22. HIK Lynx Pro 10mm Smart Thermal Monocular. RRP £649

23. Fallow doe stalk in Herefordshire kindly donated Farook Kadodia



All stalking lots are guided and to be arranged at a time convenient with the donor and wholly subject to the donors’ terms and conditions including insurance requirements (i.e. BASC etc) these will be issued in advance as they differ. Carcasses not included but generally can be purchased at market rate if it suits the donor. Estate rifle available in most cases. The donor’s decision is final on all matters.
