Hi all ,looking for advice on gralloch and extraction in the field ,will be used mainly on fallow ,what is the best hanging kit and carry / removal by hand kit please

Large climbing loop(s). Makes drag a lot easier than cord.

But if you can - ground dependent - get a truck with a winch and save your back

buy a deer drag harness. Less than 20 quid. Just get a piece of rope, one end to the harness and the other to the deer

I prefer to suspend gralloch, but with Fallow you are chancing a back injury if not careful.

You could:

Learn to gralloch on the deck.
Find a friend to stalk with
Get a hoist/pulley system

Or all of the above.

I wouldn’t even consider moving a Fallow (or Red/Sika) on my own-but then I have had proper work done on my L4/5 and so understand the potential consequences in full.

I find sometimes even a tractor can't get to some of the places I would like it too - the trees are too low or the ground is too soft and the landowners don't want the mess. Consider getting a quad with a winch and some form of bucket on the front and/or rear and/or a small trailer. Mud tyres are essential.

Thanks for the advice all ,tractors are not an option or quad so need to be by hand
Shoot the smaller ones...the big stuff will be 70>85 kg dressed 11 to 13 stone...just get a mate on a bit of 1200 plastic and try giving him a tow... Take the head off as they catch every bit, it can go in the sled or bin it if you can.

Thank you ,I was thinking about a sled I presume they fold up for carriage

When I first started stalking (fallow) I weighed myself down with all kinds of paraphernalia for suspending and extracting deer. Now I just carry a few yards of lightweight rope. Gralloch on the ground, green only (so don't open the chest). Then tie the forelegs together followed by a clove hitch around the lower jaw (basically tying the hooves under the chin), and wrap the other end of the rope around my sticks. And walk.
Additional rope, winches etc remain in the vehicle, for assistance in getting the animal into the back of the pickup.

If you don’t have the luxury of a farmer with a tractor at your disposal, for manual multiple a sled is a good investment.

Singles off the beaten track, a Monach compact roe sack is hard to beat - take mine everywhere.

With regards to a simple suspended gralloch kit - have a look at the B&D stalkers assist kit. 👍

Is that easy enough ?
Is what easy enough? Getting deer into the back of the pickup? No, it's not easy anymore! I used to be able to lift heavy things, but now I've lost a lot of strength due to a medical condition and really struggle. However, a rope stretched between the forward tie-down points in the load bed, with a small block-and-tackle clipped onto it, combined with some kind of ramp, will do the trick. Strategic parking helps.
