Country Sports Wholesale - Vortex Warranty

Hi all,
Just wanted to pass on my experience with my vortex warranty repair experience with Country Sports Wholesale.

From the moment go Eddie from CSW provided me with almost instant responses with any queries I had with my repair.
The repair in question being a vortex Strikefire 2 red dot.

Within 2 weeks my red dot was received, investigated, assessed with feedback and photos, with the replacement issued.

I was always a bit dubious about the vortex lifetime warranty thinking it needed to be sent over to the states etc but CSW made the whole process smooth.

I am a big fan of Vortex stuff. Whilst I’ve never had cause to use their warranty, friends have, with a faultless response every time. No quibble, no arguing just a straightforward replacement as his scope was quite an old model no longer made.

Makes you think when buying new (or even second hand kit) about what response you’ll get from some manufacturers who’s aftermarket service could be better.

I have a pair of old Vortex sidewinder 8x42 binoculars , must of bought them 15 years ago, still use them stalking now, good glass and reliable

I’ve got a viper pst aswell and it’s been a great bit of kit. Recently bought a vector optics magnifier to go with the red dot and after trying the vortex equivalent they are worlds apart. And knowing if any issues arise the supports their with CSW I’m probably going to invest in the vortex magnifier.

My (9 year old) 10x50 Diamondbacks are still going strong. No complaints.

Had to use it once. A rifle "fell" out of a safe when the door was opened and landed on the elevation turret on a concrete floor. Ouch! Agent had a replacement scope in the mail the next day.

That's great to hear! I'd love to take credit for Eddie's work but he's doing a fantastic job running the warranty centre.

Same here, fantastic service. Really makes you think hard before a purchase. The warranty is so important for you but also helps their second hand value.

Couple of years ago I had an issue with a pair of furys. I sent them back on the Friday, and had a brand new pair on my desk the following Wednesday!
Can't fault that!
