Your favourite shotgun...... ?

oh cool. How do you find it swings?
Coming from shooting alot of clays with a 9lb caesar guerini invictus I really struggle during duck season with my a400 extreme because its so light but so far this year this bps has been a joy for everything from tall geese to rapid teal! Would love to find one in 12 bore and change the a400!

I like my 3” 12b. You can get them from Davey & Son

Mine has to be my Sauer drilling. Side by side 16g, lovely balance. It has the advantage of an 8mm rifle barrel slung under the shotgun barrels - a handy addition if that squirrel is a bit too far away for the shotgun barrel. On the ground only of course...

AYA No2 custom fitted. No I'm not loaded my local shop had an insurance write off that was only a year old. Re-stocked to fit me and barrel repaired. I love my sxs. However, I'm a very lucky boy and won the GWCT gun draw last year so will soon be the proud owner of an AYA Legend Deluxe so I guess I'll have to learn the swing a drainpipe

AYA no 2 20 bore c1983 made on a no 53 action with no sideclips. Re blues by Elderkins 2020.

Horses for courses for me. I shoot competitive clays, and my go-to sporter is a 1997 Beretta 682 Gold (not the later, lighter E version!!) It just feels right, multichoke 31" barrels. It's showing its age, but I can't see a reason to change it.

Next is a 20 bore Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon. I bought it with a cash legacy when my Dad died in 1999, and between us we've shot a lot of game. It's a 28" fixed 1/4 and 1/2, and a joy to carry. The stock has been swapped after it was knocked off the back seat of my car by a passenger many years ago, but the gun will never be replaced.

For early season partridge I have a Yildiz side x side .410. Cost buttons, but is a fantastic little thing to shoot.

I've just joined a pheasant syndicate with some good tall birds, and so will be trying some heftier shells in the 20. I don't think I'll be under-gunned, but it would might be a good excuse to treat myself to a 12g game gun.

The side by side is a 12g Russian made Toz66 hammer gun.
Not the prettiest but I shoot good with it on the clays.

2nd is my 1916 Lee Enfield chambered to .410
Made in the bsa factory .

Restricted to single shot

Just love the click clonk of the bolt such a cool thing

I've been looking for a 66 for some time now , they get snapped up fairly quickly around here though . They're greatly under rated shotguns ............ and I like anything with hammers . The Lee Enfield is just a cool gun , and getting very collectable ( hence pricey ) . There are more Ishapore manufactured guns available locally than British made . An interesting piece historically but , more importantly , a lot of fun to shoot .

The Tula was a revelation to me. Its one of those shotguns I could probably shoot well with my eyes shut!
I had a Lee Enfield 410 many years ago. It was good fun.

Beretta DT10.

I have done the "premium" competitive shotguns and the only difference is they cost more and have more problems. I went back to a classic. Also have a Beretta Silver Pigeon 20 bore which I bought 20 years ago for game and it will never change.

Im slowly climbing that ladder currently shooting an invictus V ascent at clays with the intent of a k80 supersport some day. Still have a beautiful little 325 grade 5 trap gun that will never be sold
