If you don't find what you need I can give you details of the Luxembourg couple. They might be able to help.

Fixed.

A true 1 MOA rifle and shooter (most fail to grasp the statistics) will easily accomplish chest shots on deer out to 500 yards and beyond. Whether the choice of bullet design and metal is capable of being lethal at that range, is another topic entirely... :stir:

A poor workman blames his tools... :coat:

Well I, and at least 5 of my close shooting mates buck the trend of the standard custom owner (as you view it). All use semi customs, all practice together out to maximum stalking range, all do regular range days and PRS meets (not myself on this last one), all out at least 2x a week stalking- often more in hind/doe season.

All aforementioned rifles are ruthlessly accurate, far more than any factory rifle. Is it necessary for stalking? Not in the least, but it inspires confidence (and we like twiddling and messing with things!).

Each to their own. No harm in it, in fact its indicative of folks trying to better their equipment in a drive to be more efficient/effective.

Never made the money back on a build its a pipe dream if you think it will happen 💯 % it will be at large loss but not as much as a blaser with a leather inlaid stock!?

With the added advantage of it not being a Blaser with leather inlets 🤣😜

(Seriously though whoever buys them can’t be doing much of their own gralloching)

As quite a few have alluded to, many clients have rifles built to keep, either from sentimental value (as in re barrel with enhancements such as bedding and coating) or as a full build from scratch to their spec

I honestly can’t think of anyone I’ve built rifles of the latter type selling them because they don’t get used or were “rash purchases”

Up to now I only lost money on one rifle build which was a howa based rifle. Fantastic practical hunting rifle just I presume the brand was not wanted. Never had issues selling our project rifles even though we specced them. Remmy based rifles sell well, Tikka based sell well and custom actioned rifles sell well. It also depends on the components that are chosen, some just don't fit together. Just putting together a light Rem based stalking/foxing rifle in 243. 22" sporter barrel, hunter monte carlo type carbon stock which has a fairly high comb. Plan is to use it a while and then sell it on.
