I was lucky to get an invite to Romania a few weeks ago. But I was even more lucky when this majestic beast walked out in front of myself . I have yet to have the Antler weight confirmed but its about 12kgs . I am not a trophy hunter but this floated my boat

A good one to take as it's missing its bez tynes! Still a nice stag though.

They clearly grow very large over there because he doesn’t look more than 4 or 5 years old to me? Did your guide give you any indication of age?

I have been stalking most of my life and shot some big stuff but not like this and if the guide tells me its between 10 and 12 I would believe him as its my first.

Well I guide a few people and have seen and shot a few stags too and that doesn't look anything like a 12 year old stag to me. No span and no fish tailing at the top. However, I also appreciate that this one isn't a British lowland stag. I don't suppose you have the bottom jaw?
What I have also learnt from this stalking lark is not to take what guides tell you as gospel.

Some of you guys might be right just spoke to one of guides and he said about 7 years . But the body is one of 10 . So there we go and he can't get pics as he doesn't know where the trophy is
