after 40 years together I thought I knew her, but one small present I expected her to like given she enjoys taking photos, family, holidays etc was a nice quality selfie stick, response she hates it 😟 but the rest of the family present today think it’s great 😊 guess I got that wrong 😂

Yep i know that feeling my Mrs wanted to use the camera more, so 3 years ago I purchased at great expense a all angle motorised phone camera thing, set it all up for her, it’s never been out of the box since, the grand kids use it now

i don’t ask

Well the wife hasn't quite got a motorbike yet although she likes being pillion on mine so I bought her an exhaust to go with it ;)

The only comment I got was " can't believe you've put it on the new carpet"

I like all the practical good sense stuff lads…..l remember last year l got our lass an electric shaver…….the difference it’s made to her appearance…….but the stubble on her chin is something else……..I’ll find a use for it sooner or later, thinking about it there’s an old table wants sanding

We're at 'small present stage', she's always borrowing my lens cleaning cloth for her specks so I got her a wee keyring cleaning-cloth holder thingy from the phenomenal Banton Frameworks in Scotland Optical & Sunglasses frames made in UK | Banton Frameworks

She loves it, to my amazement. As I've crept past the half-century the 'buy nice or buy twice (at least)' mantra has at last kicked in so I bought the best varifocals I could from them a few years ago in quality frames, and they've been incredibly durable and the customer service is amazing. She actually commented on the quality of the manufacture :lol:

Of course my 'multiple big shooting presents to myself' are well hidden, so I feel a tad guilty at all the extra nice stuff she got me as I 'never get myself anything' :scared::thumb:
