Oh god, prime the credit card………….
Unfortunate..Theres no way it's going to be the price you have quoted... For the enhanced performance, ability to upgrade sensor/lens in the future, LRF, etc... Even at the same price as the existing Helion Pro it would be a steal and the Helion Pros are easily the best selling top end monocular on the market...that fly out still...
They don't need to be competitive, in some sense, they don't want to be bottom of the market....they sell many times more products than other manufacturers combined regardless... IF it was priced similar to the existing model your getting more performance, design, features for the money and hardware upgrade ability in the future.... The current Helion Pro is still flying out...Unfortunate..
Can see what you're saying but at the same time, it would make sense for them to be price competitive.
Not yet..no indication on RRP yet @Blackwood Outdoors ?
I certainly hear where you are coming from Ian. People know that Pulsar are top and are the best of the best and they will pay what the asking price is, that is definitely a fact. They don't need to be competitive, in some sense, they don't want to be bottom of the market....they sell many times more products than other manufacturers combined regardless... People will pay for a quality product, is the bottom line.... I'll be having one and most of my shooting friends also...I could use pretty much anything, but I'd choose one of these and many others will too...
Can't see it being anywhere near that....That looks some piece of kit!! I bet it’s not far off £4.5k because of its longevity with upgrade potential?!
im going to take a stab at £3,750 inc VATCan't see it being anywhere near that....
As I say, no information available whatsoever on price or release date. However it looks to compete against the Falcon by HIk but better spec and a rangefinder. My guess and purely a guess is retail will be around £2.8k, being cheaper than the Helion pro model and more expensive than the Falcon FQ50. As its called an XP50, then it seems to me it should be of similar spec to the Helion pro but a few extras that make it better, running on 17um still.. in my mind it will have to be priced competitively due to competition now.
Dari below has found the spec list.
Pulsar released a snapshot and this is it, via their FB page. Also showing pro versions of the Talions/Axions and a XG50 mk2 of the Krypton add on.
Looks like Pulsar is releasing a design of thermal similar in shape to Hik Falcon FQ50 but better specs with a ranger finder...
The Telos XP50LRF
My guess will be slight improvement on the Helion XP50 Pro model internals and lens with a range finder added?
No information available, just seen this snap and that's all there is.
I would say, dependant on price, this will smash all monocular competition. I'm certainly in.
I'd guess lower...![]()

€3890. Yes that’s a European price but I bet it won’t be far off that in pounds.
They told me that the mounting system has not changed. One of them not sure if it was the Krypton had a bigger screen than is the norm which I found better for my left eye which is my spotter eye. I will sift through all the bumpf and add later, after doing the 5 halls and carrying the satchel of bumpf around I am buggered today but it was really busy and all the car parks were full. Please can you ask if the new Pulsar Krypton 2 will be the same mounting system and the existing Rusan and smartclip can be used from the original Krypton ?
Many thanks for looking at it for me and the info. They told me that the mounting system has not changed.
