I have a hard time getting these in the US. ~MuirI know they're like rocking horserecently. But it's getting crazy. Anyone know where you can purchase large rifle primers (preferably federal 210m) in Cambridgeshire or that matter anywhere in England that isn't Cornwall?
Many thanks

Most likely. This is why I buy components when I see a good price -not when I need them. When distributors hold their product for ransom, I just walk past.Seen that Remington are now pumping them out again.
Do you think that Vista Outdoor owning 3 of the 4 major primer manufacturers (CCI, Federal and Remington Ammunition) means they are throttling capacity to keep stock levels low and prices high?
Just having the same problem - I need some CCI BR2 which seem to be completely unavailable!
You’re not heading over Hadrian’s Wall any time soon, are you?!Have 2k of them here not doing too much...
no. the demand is there plus a war that no doubt we will supply, plus the demand required for factory ammo production. They all need primers.Seen that Remington are now pumping them out again.

S&B primers and lovex powders are great! Most likely. This is why I buy components when I see a good price -not when I need them. When distributors hold their product for ransom, I just walk past.
That said, Shooters are their own worst enemy. When you can't get what 'works' in your gun, move on and find something else. What can it hurt? I stumbled on to S&B Small Rifle Primers that way. When there were no other primers, the shop had S&B in quantity covered in dust due to the snobbery of the local reloaders. Out of curiosity, I bought 2K, tried them, came back and bought all the stock he had. When Lovex powders hit the market here, and were very inexpensive, I bought heavily in 8 pound kegs and some scattered 1 pounders. I got great results and gave 1 pound cans to reloading friends ...who still haven't tried them.
Reloaders need to take off the blinders...especially in these times.~Muir
