Probably not. It might be a firing pin issue on a slightly different thickness of cup, or depth of primer pocket.

It would be interesting to put them through a strong bolt action and see if they function as expected. Maybe I will hang onto them until I can pass them to someone to test for me/us.

Funny you should mention this, a friend is having loads of miss fires using cci primers in his 204, so maybe a wider problem than you think.

personally I would bin them as you will never have 100% confidence in them going off,that said I have a draw full of broken stuff at home ie a thermostat from a disco I sold 10 years ago !

What he ended up doing was try a few out of each pkt, if 1 failed in that pkt, he would bin that batch,
he was lucky as he bought a few thousand not just the odd packet.
