I'd have no issue using my old man's target rifle shooting rabbits with the diopters. Just don't ask me to lug it around a field for too long.I’ve always wanted a biathlon rifle for shooting rabbits, diopter sights and all

When I was young I used to hide out in hedgerows with a club hoping to ambush rabbits as well hahaha needless to say it never succeeded.
Supremely accurate and a joy to shoot.
Fitted here with a scope to have some fun at the range(front diopter still attached). It soon became everyone's favourite rifle to shoot on the day for some reason.
A full broadside from an 18th Century frigate - the ultimate in black powder. Maybe Smelly Dog could join me on the quarter deck? I’d put Muir in charge of the gun deck…any volunteers to be powder monkeys?

Took a .22 fire ball up to legal speed energy for Roe Deer. We got it but with lill powder and a really compressed load. (Once)
