Interesting, there appears to be concern regarding abuse of the zeroing clause and a proposal that all FAC holders have a burglar alarm fitted

if you look back at other minutes they suggested zeroing is (from memory) 3 shots.

These minutes are always worth a read, however none look to be published after July 2021, Why? BASC Conor can you explain why not? 10 year certificate gets a mentions a long with zeroing, alarms and more.

And more listed

There was a further meeting in October 2021 (see download below) - and I vaguely recall a discussion on this forum about these minutes?

I can't find any more meeting minutes after that - maybe no further meetings since then? I will look into it next week.

Minutes are pretty awful IMO, apart from using unprofessional language, such as “ok”! also for example, it states in a bullet format; “burglar alarms to be mandatory for firearms license holdersl.

Who has said this? Is this a statement or a question made during the meeting; not clear. however, it would appear at odds with Home Office guidelines that were published subsequent to date of the meeting in question (2021).

indeed where they look to float their views be that policy of wishful thinking that they then try and move forward as policy they represent their Chief Constables at the meeting.

look back to pre implementation of the GP minutes as it was via this meeting it was driven forward, then you can see it is a then an us attitude.
