two on mine.....Marc Zabrovski lightweight gambrel kit or B&D. Never used the B&D, but the concepts the same - my Zabrovski kit is a game changer - literally 300grams and had 60kg fallow on it.
Onto my third hook - not as they break - keep leaving them in trees!

There's full deer hoist kit on Amazon and I think Ebay for very little cost, the gambrel folds up and they'll easily accommodate a whitetail, so Red, Fallow, Sika etc ought not to be a problem.Any suggests for a gambrel to put in my pack that’s not crazy money
I find these handy…Any suggests for a gambrel to put in my pack that’s not crazy money
You just have to be careful if lifting the gambrel from underneath that you lift it centrally otherwise it collapses, trapping your hand. Happens a lot on roe where I lift the carcass by the bar to fit the hook into a suspended loop..........I have the Monarch. works well, doesn't jangle.

Great bit of kit, but mine is also currently without a hookMarc Zabrovski lightweight gambrel kit or B&D. Never used the B&D, but the concepts the same - my Zabrovski kit is a game changer - literally 300grams and had 60kg fallow on it.

I welded mine together as I though that much of the design. Then gave it away. You just have to be careful if lifting the gambrel from underneath that you lift it centrally otherwise it collapses, trapping your hand.
