People now want to ban trail hunting . This can not afford to happen . All country pursuits will be in danger if this happens .

Doomed is nothing , having a barge pole rammed up the jacksie sideways is more like it . If China joins Russia in the war .Sociology in the United Kingdom, fascinating.
United Kingdom... whoever chose to call the Islands such never had a crystal ball...
We are Doomed Pike.
I never thought of that i agree with you .My concern is that a ban on trail hunting will prevent us training dogs to follow deer blood tracks. Badly worded legislation could cause a major deer welfare issue.
Unfortunately because of the same sort of band of folk that still in England and Wales shoot duck with lead shot. And that use trail hunting to "accidentally" get on the line of a fox. We have sometimes our own worst enemies not outside the tent but inside the tent. The law may be an ass but if we then use what is allowed as a mask to do what isn't allowed then we risk that limited circumstance that is permitted also being prohibited.People now want to ban trail hunting . No. Entirely different sort of training required for a good ‘deer dog’My concern is that a ban on trail hunting will prevent us training dogs to follow deer blood tracks. Badly worded legislation could cause a major deer welfare issue.
Just hope no fox on your training area.No. Entirely different sort of training required for a good ‘deer dog’
I believe that the ban will be laying trails with animal scents so that includes cleaves - please explain how I shouldn't be worried,No. Entirely different sort of training required for a good ‘deer dog’
Country pursuits are doomed, I've been enjoying everything from ratting, pigeon shooting, driven game, coursing, hunting, fly fishing, course fishing, loading and a few other things for over forty years and nothing is the same, the woolly jumper is being unpicked one stitch at a time by changing legislation and it will continue until we are staring at a jumbled heap of wool.
But I agree, it would be nice if we could all stand united to try and stave off the decline of the magnificent way of life in rural England.
Indeed………..
I remember many years ago Chris and I shot 90 foxes in a 4 farm area, bumped into the hunt master in Asda, how you doing? How common is the trial hunting law being abused by hunts who actually just hunt as normal??
U see these sab group f#ckwits popping up on faceache.
And there nutty followers.
Hunts never doing anything wrong.
Infact u rarely hear the hounds singing.
So cant be on a trail either.
Even when a fox shows up on camera, sabs go wild but hounds are nowhere near and not in voice on its line.
They claim its being hunted but it never looks like it.
But by the laws of averages ur bound to trip over a flush a fox sometime
Its a bit like raptor persecution if u believed half wot they said u'd think it was common place which is simply not the case at all.
Ive never been involved with hounds down south, althou have shot for some english gun packs that used yo come north off the border before the recent ban here
Yeh you hold on to that thought when they ban using dogs to follow pre laid scent trails.No. Entirely different sort of training required for a good ‘deer dog’
