Awaiting blaser uk to respond a bit59 posts.
So what was the outcome.
Aye, it's good to what to avoidInteresting to know this is common on m18s and the Sauer 100, that's good info to hold on too!

Taking to rfd in the new year
Thanks all for ideas etc
I love the rifle can't fault it outside of pouring rain so not gonna send it back, not normally anything to see under thermal in the rain anyway.
I am pretty confident it's tight fit/tolerance and then hydraulic lock from ingress

I will come back with a response on what blaser/rfd say
Who just paints a rifle to fraudulently sell it as stainless? Is the Mauser proper stainless or just a silver painted rifle? It could be something simple but I wouldn't put up with it.

The chap probably meant nickel or chrome plated.Who just paints a rifle to fraudulently sell it as stainless?

Interesting but the description states ceracoate. So would the culprit be some unscrupulous retailer? Seems the manufacturer is honest.

I wouldn't want to know how many fell for the stainless looks. Even at trade shows they were promoting it as good as stainless which I thought that was a bit cheap. There is only one reason why they made it look like stainless. Nice to see they have proper stainless now.Interesting but the description states ceracoate. Probably don't shoot it North of Manchester.Awaiting blaser uk to respond a bit
