I've had three over the years. I had a Brno 7x57R/12g which I still think I shot more deer with than any other rifle I've owned, it was brilliant. Then I sold it and bought a Sauer 8x60R/16g drilling, a nice light gun which is nothing like what some of the previous replies suggest, it balances very well and is fast to swing. Last but not least my current one is a Blaser BBF97 in .308/12g. The rimless cartridge isn't the end of the world but given the choice, rimmed cartridges are nicer with this setup.
Accuracy isn't like you'll get from a bolt action rifle but it's very acceptable. My Blaser groups about an inch at 100 yards. I'll never be without a gun that has a shotgun and rifle barrel, they're absolutely spot on for a keeper or someone who likes a walk in the woods and is happy to take anything from a pigeon to a deer. The only thing I will say is don't load the rifle barrel if you're intending to shoot squirrels or birds - I once pulled off a head shot on a squirrel which was running up the trunk of a large beech tree........ with the 8x60R!
Never again!
